Shame to Ethiopian Satellite Television (ESAT) Journalists!

ESAT was established on April 24, 2010, by some exiled Ethiopian journalists to provide supposedly accurate, objective and balanced news, analysis and information to their audience in Ethiopia. The fact of the matter is, however,  ESAT was initiated and secretly financed and sponsored by the fascist Eritrean dictator, Issayas Afeworki, and was given a clear political objective to demonise, and incite rebellion against the Woyane rulers of Ethiopia and to propagate their eventual overthrow. This is a hard fact.

Thus, in line with the clear instruction, they received from their boss, Afeworki, and from Dr. Berhanu Nega, another Ethiopian and anti-Eritrean agent, beloved of the Eritrean dictator, ESAT has never criticised, even mildly, the Issayas regime, let alone exposed the monstrous crimes it has committed, and continues to commit, against Eritrea and its people. Consequently, Eritreans might have been wondering why ESAT journalists have shown such an utter lack of interest in the sufferings of the Eritrean people under the rule of the Eritrean dictator.

The fact of the matter is that ESAT journalists are the paid agents (mercenaries) of Issayas Afeworki, effectively mercenaries working for a dictator who has brazenly boasted that he has given Ethiopians homework for 100 years.

It is important, therefore, that Ethiopians understand that the pariah Eritrean dictator is their principal enemy and not their friend, just as he is the mortal enemy of Eritrea and its people.

It is therefore in the common immediate and long-term interests of the oppressed Eritrean and Ethiopian peoples to deny support to the Eritrean dictator and instead to give solidarity to each other’s struggle for justice and democracy.

Long live solidarity between the oppressed Eritrean and Ethiopian peoples.
