In other words, no incident involving Yemane Gebreab took place in a Doubletree hotel in the Washington DC area.

It is true, though, that on Saturday October 7 2017, Yemane Gebreab and the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Osman Saleh, were expected to conduct a public seminar with members of the Eritrean community at the Doubletree Hotel in Crystal City, Virginia. As planned, the Foreign Minister showed up and the meeting was conducted without Yemane Gebreab.
